Riding Lessons

Derbyshire Stables' riding lessons are fun, safe, and professional. We provide quality instruction for all levels of riders from beginner to advanced. There is something for everyone including showing on the hunter/jumper circuit, trail riding in the woods, bonding with horses, competing at local shows, and just enjoying a relaxing ride with an equine friend. Our trainers have a wealth of experience to help you reach your equestrian goals. Our premier facility allows you to enjoy riding year round in our large indoor arena, large outdoor arenas, and over 250 miles of picturesque bridle trails. Come take a ride with us today!

Riding Lessons are taught 7 days a week by appointment. Riders are grouped based on ability. Beginner riders will take private lessons until they are able to safely ride in a group. Lessons are an hour long including tacking and un-tacking. When experienced enough, riders will come early to be tacked up and ready when their lesson starts to increase riding time.
